Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if the E.D.G.E. experience is for my group?

Before contacting us you should consider what your group’s goals and objectives are for your E.D.G.E. experience. If you believe you can accomplish these goals through use of our program then the E.D.G.E. experience is right for you. If you are still unsure if this experience is right for your group feel free to contact us so we can help you determine if the E.D.G.E. experience is a right fit for your group.

How long is each session?

The length of each session varies depending on whether you are doing a Campus E.D.G.E. experience or the Lakewood E.D.G.E. Depending on your groups’ goals and objectives, the Campus E.D.G.E. experience can last anywhere from 1 to 4 hours whereas the Lakewood E.D.G.E. can be an all-day experience.

How far in advance do I need to schedule an E.D.G.E. experience?

The sooner you know the date of when you want your experience the better. Keep in mind that if you have groups larger than 50, we would ask you to give us at least one month’s notice, so we can have more time to accommodate your group.

What if I need to cancel my session?

If you need to cancel your E.D.G.E. experience, we ask that you at least give us 72 hours notice before the start of your experience. You may contact us by calling the Outdoor Center Manager at (360) 650-3731, to cancel your session and/or schedule another time for your group. Experiences may proceed despite rain, wind and snow. The facilitator will determine if the experience should be cancelled due to weather conditions.

How many people can I have on the course at one time?

The E.D.G.E. Program can accommodate groups of varying sizes. For every 12 people you will be accompanied by one facilitator. For groups of 50 or more, we ask that you contact us before you submit your reservation request so that we can determine if we can accommodate your group’s goals.
